Not really.  The human race is always the human race = flawed.  Not condoning it or tolerating it.  It's just a fact of life that human beings are ultimately self-serving gods to themselves. We are a religion to ourselves, and we'll use whatever means we have avaliable to serve our agendas if not kept in check by our peers if not self-accountability.
