Alright let's see here. Switch: I like the idea and concept of Nintendo doing something different. Only thing I can really ask from Nintendo is just to continue to work on high quality games, spend a little time taking advantage of the features they introduced with the Switch such as HD Rumble and Joy Cons. I'd like to see developers bring over their portable experiences to the Switch and show how they can take advantage of the hardware.

I'm a bit mixed on the PS4 & XBO, I appreciate the amount of good games on these platforms including some of my favourite games of all time (Yakuza 0) but I feel that consoles have started to lose their identity, becoming more and more like closed PCs. I would like hardware to be interesting again but that's more of a pipedream rather than reality, so I hope for more good games coming out. First 4 months on PS4 were pretty good and development of PS VR was neat so I'd like to see more of that.

On the PC side I'd like to see more Japanese games (well games in general but you know), continue to make the platform more friendly to casual users, more support for emerging technologies such as VR, cheap but good processors. I only use Steam but I hope rival services such as GoG can compete to keep the market healthy. I think that about covers it.

The PS4 is the perfect console for west-and japan games, for the publisher and gamer. Player want awesome gameplay-AND Storygames!! The Gamesflood in the last months and in future is amazing!

Blockbuster like Persona 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata, God of War, The Last of Us 2, Yakuza-Games, Red Dead Redemption 2, Ni No Kuni 2, Uncharted, Bloodborne, next GTA, Death Stranding, Spiderman, Detroit Become Human ect are on PS4.

It seems it was a phase for you, rather than the default of having kids and moving on with other things for everyone else (Linus has a wife and kids and his general interest has always been computers and the like for example). Everyone goes through different stages in life though. There was a time when I was fine with what I had, but then over time that changed and now I'm expecting more for what I invest more money into.

It's a thread about all the other platforms, not just PS4...

That's just my preference. Graphical/Visual power is low prioirty when it comes to games for me.

For me too, gameplay, first, in some games I like a good story too, but if it's an open world it must have enough untold things to leave me as much freedom as possible. Good graphics are a welcome extra, but for me in most cases decent graphics are enough. High framerate is important for fast games.

All i want is good games.
