Wow, just watched some of the Gamexplain review. Forget the archaic design flaws, this thing hasn't been optimized for crap on consoles and is, in my opinion, an absolute crapshow on Xbone proportionate to how demanding it *should* be. Now I have little doubt they hit technical issues on Wii U, not because the game is demanding (seriously, just look at it), but due to plain incompetence on the technical side.

wow You are right, I saw that review and the framerate is horrible, specially for a platformer, also it looks like it lacks a lot of polish in some areas.

Probably it would be a good game if it wans't so obviously rushed, I don't understand why they didn't give it more time.

Saddest part is that it was delayed, so they spent over two years on this. I can forgive them if they announce that a patch is in the works which surely they will.

More reasons to never do crowdfunding projects... When will people learn?

Also damn Jim... 2/10

I dunno, we had some good ones like Undertale, Lisa and Night in the Woods.

Well, that's depressing. One of the few hyped third party Switch games is deemed mediocre, and the foundation of reviewers listed here aren't too intrigued: IGN and Gamespot. I was at least expecting 8's. However, if it indeed holds true that these reviews bashed the game solely for being archaic or antiquated...that's simply unfair judgment. A true Banjo fan should give insight; they have familiarized themselves with the formula and can truly decide whether this is a hit or miss, as that's the initial reason this was funded. For Banjo fans to relive the experience in a different setting. Not for critics to plague their contemporary, spoilt anti-bias over a hyped indie game not meeting the standards of today's gameplay.

What the hell? How come everyone here totally saw this coming, yet in every post about this game all the comments were full of positivity? Something tells me they'd be singing a different tune had it scored well.

That happens all the time

Perhaps. But at least with Might number 9 I think most people saw it coming. Same with the Order to an extent.

Well some are way more obvious than others, but when a game looks promising and fails to deliver the amount of hype it had, suddenly everyone saw it coming :P

wtf is wrong with these reviewers, The game is based off a 90s game so why can we have these good ol' 90s games in 2017 without reviewers saying "outdated" or "clinging to the past". Im still getting this for Switch

I don't think I ever said anything about this game beforehand, positive or negative, other than the JonTron thread.
