Vice President of Marvel’s Digital Media Group confirms Spidey is coming in 2017.

Ryan Penagos, Vice President & Executive Editor of Marvel Digital Media, has confirmed that we’ll be seeing the PS4 exclusive Spider-Man title from Insomniac Games this year.

In a clip taken from a recent livestream by Redditor GamingSince95, Penagos says, “there’s even more on the horizon [from Marvel Games] for 2017, like Spider-Man coming to PlayStatin 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite coming to Xbox One, PS4, PC.”

Insomniac announced the game at E3 2016, and the studio confirmed that it was running on a regular PS4, so it should look even more slick on a PS4 Pro.

Hopefully we’ll see more of the game this year at E3 2017, followed by a Fall release, but we’ll have to wait and see.

i think sony will make a official release date reveal on e3 but i'm confident that will release this year :) 

It was obvious that it will release in the same year as the movie.

Yeah I agree... its too much, they ll probably delay it (even if its ready) just so they dont all launch together.

Spiderman + GT should be able to move a few units of PS4's.

Bundled GT PS4 will new colors in Europe. Sony might be invited to the EU after the holidays.
