Slow Friday night I guess. I knew that Dark Souls is a pretty bad port and running these games on an intergrated GPU (550) is not the best of ideas, so I did it anyways. I'm not disappointed in the results at all. Performance is about as good as you would expect.
Kind of curious if I can get this running into a semi-playable state after some tinkering.

What the what.....did you apply the DSFix and still got this lol?
Well...I installed DSFix which would crash the game. I uninstalled DSFix which wouldn't even start the game but then a reinstall of DSFix would boot the game to the image in the OP.
So.... I guess I'll mess around with DSFix some more since it seems to do something.
go into game options and disable Anti Aliasing before using DS fix. Go into DSfix.ini and change renderWidth &
renderHeight imto your native resolution.
Thats all I can think about with that pic. Are you trying to play in windowed mode?

Not a half bad idea since a lot of people are using iGPUs, but I hope not to be relying on this iGPU for much longer lol.

Yes! That fixed the issue with DSFix. I'm running it in 1600 x 900 in windowed mode right now, going to try to tinker with some settings to see if I can improve the framerate.

Even at 720p 30fps the game is an improvement over the console versions. You might also wanna keep the frame-rate at 30 fps. The game breaks at higher framerates (jumps are too short, can get stuck on more geometry, the game can permanently hang at the bonfires forcing you to close it with alt+F4, and other stuff).

Great video, thanks for that ! I did get it running to about 30 FPS in most areas, I loaded up a save in Blighttown which did drop the FPS down to 15 before going back up to 30, so it was a bit choppy but no worse than the PS3 version.
Definitely playable after some tinkering, so overall it's been a pretty interesting experiment.
