For those who believe that movie downloads will never compete with optical-disc movie purchases based on the idea that downloaded music sales will never really compete with CD sales. 4-billion songs sold and the rate is accelerating.

Yes, bandwidth will need to increase several times over what is common now for the same to happen to movies, but that day is coming faster than many believe.
