It's one of the most promising games of the year in our estimation, but it seems everyone, especially PlayStation 3 owners, is going to have to wait a bit longer to play it.
According to the Videogaming247 blog, Atari has confirmed that their creepy survival/horror title, Alone in the Dark will arrive in Europe on June 20 and in the US on June 24. However, these dates only apply to the Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and PC versions; the PS3 version will "follow later this year." Initially, the game was slated for May, but it seems a representative has explained why they took the extra month:
“The game has been delayed to allow Eden Games - obviously, they’re an Atari-owned studio - to polish the game to an even higher standard. We want to deliver the best possible experience to gamer, because we have a remarkable product,” said an Atari rep. “We’ve been getting an incredible response from the people that have seen it in demos. We’ll soon be supplying code to the market.”
Okay, but how come the PS3 version is off the radar? This isn't good news, but we'll try to get some answers for you. This could be another one of those times when the developers created the game on the Xbox 360 first, and are now attempting to port it to the PS3. We really hope this isn't the case - the game will turn out badly if it is - but we'll see what we can find out.

I think this might be old news but if not...
