not as bad as when Sony cancelled the PS3 version of The Last Gaurdian which had been in development for like 6 years.

Just makes zero sense. People may have bought a Wii U version if the game was released a couple of years ago. But given that it's going to be sold after Wii U has been discontinued then it makes sense for the publisher to move to a different platform.

Unless of course you'd prefer they publish on Wii U and go out of business.

No, Nintendo could support both. Some Wii U owners will never move to Switch.

I could see how a Wii U owner would be displeased about this.  But for somebody who doesn't own a Wii U to be upset about this would not make sense.

how is Nintendo the blame for a 3rd party cancelling a game?

Also what does this quote even mean? Why do they need further support from Nintendo to finish a game that has been in development for like 2 years?

My only problem with this thread is that Nintendo is not the developer or the publisher of this game.........

Microsoft cancelled the Xbox versions of Perfect Dark Zero & Kameo: Elements of Power in order to make them exclusive launch titles for 360.

Sony cancelled the PS3 version of The Last Guardian which had been in development for about 6 years in favor of a PS4 version.

Do you hate them too?

I understand what you mean, but I empathize with the poor Wii U customers that are getting the shaft left and right. I would be furious.

ya i have a hard time seeing how this is their fault, most likely the developers simply thought the game would bomb on Wii U and has a better chance of success on Switch.

It is not dead for millions. It is their fault that it's dying. They could allow a Wii U and Switch version. A console should be supported for a minimum of 5 years. I think that's fair.
