hmmm, that's tough cause most of the games i like are one offs or have 1 sequel. i was trying to think of franchises with at least 5 entries where i liked most or all of them.

blitz 01 for DC= best sports game ever.

Hmm for me it'll be

1. Final Fantasy
2. Gran Turismo
3. Metal Gear Solid
4. Mario
5. Resident Evil

Those are probably it, maybe a little different if i sat there and really thought about it. But one thing is for sure. Final Fantasy is number 1 =D

Yeah, I realized that after checking.

The problem is that it only find games with "Final Fantasy" or "Mario" in the title, even if they're not considered part of the series.

Plus Mario is in the title of nearly every game he's in, whereas there are several Final Fantasy related games (such as Chocobo Dungeon) where Final Fantasy isn't in the title.

I honestly don't know FF shows such low numbers there, the series has certainly sold more than GTA. I wonder what's missing.
