Resident Evil 7: My second playthrough, now fully in PSVR

Well, I finished RE7, amazing from start to finish. Did it 2 hours in PSVR and 11 hours in normal mode. Easy mode.

So, now I am 2 hours in PSVR, normal mode, the game is much better the second time around: things make much more sense and the scares are much less horrifying.

I am confident that, now, knowing the drill, I can get through the whole thing in 8 hours. However, the bosses are much harder in normal mode, so that can be a problem.

After that, I will try the MADHOUSE (hard) setting.

And man, what a game, it feels like RE2 in the sense that it makes you want more and more.

The first time is the worst in terms of not being able to deal with the fear factor and scares, the second time feels less intense, but more immersive in PSVR.

Without the horrifying sense of dread, I can fully apreciate the enviroments and the story.

I love this game, sooooo much.

I want you guys to experience it when you have the chance, PSVR or not.

Edit: Finished. 8h33min. Awesome.

I kinda feel like you may have short changed yourself by not experiencing it in VR during your first playthrough. Still glad you got to play it that way, though. Way more immersive.

tried a madhouse playthrough, hated the save system. Lack of checkpoints doesn't make things more difficult, it just makes you beat the same part more times. Then ya run outta tapes and say screw it.

There is a trick: Draw your enemies to the safe room. Once you enter the safe room, they melt. This way you kill all your enemies without spending much ammo and also prevent damage without saving. Does not help with the bosses though =(

Oh, well, I did what I could. Not brave like you Lewis. But I did finish in VR in normal mode (pretty hard to me...). Took 8h33min,

I want to try Madhouse now.

I stand corrected. I can´t even defeat Mia with her chainsaw in Madhouse. Really really hard. I am giving up I think =(

the bosses were easy because I would always just saw them with the table saw.  I had already done the 4 hour quick play.  I just hate limited saves.  Even if I'm perfect for a long time one little mess up and I gotta redo the parts I perfected.

Mia was the toughest part for me.  You don't have anything and have to be perfect with your ammo usage there.  Jack follows you around the house when finding the dog heads in Madhouse just so you know.
