I would agree if NMS launched with all the stuff from the 1.2 update, but it didn't. The game was grossly overhyped and didn't meet expectations hence why many consumers were left dissatisfied.

But right now it's a great game and people are loving it. Some people seem very upset by that for some odd reason.

Expressing criticisms is not equivalent to being upset. Whether it's great right now doesn't change the fact that it wasn't good at launch. People want things done right the first time. That is not an irrational demand.

I'm not sure it's 'normal' to repeat the same thing in every thread over and over and over again ... That doesn't look like 'conversation' to me. Does it to you?

Suuuuuuuuureeeeeee it is.

It is. Whether you believe it or not doesn't really make any difference to anyone but yourself. It's got a great community too.

Well, when the overall majority of gamers agree that the game is not anywhere close to good, then it is not.It will not change the fact, however, that you had a great experience with it and it left you satisfied.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Tell me, what is it you don't like about playing the game after the Foundation and Path Finder update?

I never played the game. Before you go on saying that "if you never played the game, you dont have the right to say wether it is good or not", I will say that i dont need to play every single game to judge if the game is overall good or bad.I think we can agree that we all here are enlightened enough about games in general to judge well a game and how it works without playing it, not to mention that it has been a while since the game released and there has been myriad of videos discussing about it, which I watched alot of them.

Having said that, Im not really refering about the current state of affairs of the game.I couldnt care less to be quite honest. It may have fixed a lot of things by now and turned to be a decent game, but it still dosent change the fact that the vanilla version, or the launch game, was barebones at best, full of underwhelming features, broken promises, and just plain boring.I will say however, that while I consider Hello Games to an horrible developer, they may change my view on them if they release not only a good game on the future, but also to not blatanly lie(be it because the developer is trully excited about its own games and make promises he cant keep or just because he wants its game to sell and dosent care about the consequences) about what the game turn out to be.

All in all, Im happy that you are happy with the game, which I guess you still play or check on regulary, but it wont change the fact that the game was trash and the developers, as it stands, are simply bad at either developing games or managing a project.

People were upset by the lack of honesty in the advertising, which is most definately a valid reason.

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

Am I the only one that enjoyed NMS?

No. It's just that the people who enjoy NMS tend to stay away from NMS threads because those who don't like it feel it necessary to post the same stuff in every thread.
