If we still need more people let me know and i'll see what i can do too i know people who love this kind of thing.  For some reason I'm realy considering throwing $4.50 at this to get some more flex points for a level or two or some custom equipment.

I'll wait for that though and see how it goes.

Well, we need a backup QB and G so........

As for training style and intensity - you want to train as intense as possible, provided you have 100 energy before the game. So some low-impact positions (Punter and Kicker) can stay on Intense without missing a beat. Other players might need relaxed training alot, as they play hard.

Play intensity yields better stats to win games...But not much else (except if you get more plays on the field = better exp).

Hey the OT I got now is in the same team as Thomas Kage. He is level 6 but will be 7 very soon, so he could play as ROT. He is actually a pretty decent rush blocker.
By the way, I know that it is illegal to have 2 players, but technically this one is a friends and not mine, he just does not have the time now.

So no love for Thestriov Nazawski the OT??

He is level 6 and soon to be 7, very good at rush blocking.

Any clue when the first game will be?

I guess i'll go normal for now. Since I only have $500 and 400 a day training would kill me.  Bought some equipment.

Oh sweet you can watch each play diagrammed. Awesome.

This reminds me of "NFL Strategy" which i have sitting on my table right now. Great game.

I'll stay playing regular until we get some more CBS

Man, i'm starting to see how stupid it was to use that boost since i'll miss out on some training. Eh should help the team a little early at least.

I will assume our first regular season game will be Saturday, give or take.

Go ahead and do normal or relaxed training, until I add you to the roster. Each player will get $200/day per level they have, and a $1,000 signing bonus per level. So you'll get plenty of cash.

I still have a few FP, so if no one makes a CB in the next 1-2 days, I might make one. The diagrammed plays are pretty neat, and the game seems to emulate real football plays somewhat well. The big issue is that QBs absolutely suck at running (go look at Stan Gable's QB stats).

Fortunately, on offense, almost every player is going to have an average level of 3 or even 4. For being a new team, on offense, we should dominate pretty handily, unless the other teams manage to pick up a few veterans to round out their newbies.

Cool, whether you want them or not, if i sign anyone up i'll send them through your refferel link. A few of my friends used to do fantasy leagues with me so this might be right up their ally. My girlfriend tends to like this RPG sports stuff too as she loves the RPG mode in MLB Power Pros. Though she'd have the same IP as me. Even if you don't need em and they appear on other teams, the extra points can't hurt. Now I've just got to find them heh.

Might be able to get the max 850 points that way. If you get full let me know and i'll run em through my refferrel link and just work on making my CB awesome.

Also, i've been looking for the play lists and stuff and couldn't find any info. I know it'll largely depend on the team we have but it will be cool to look at.

Feel free to use your own refferal link, and build up your own characters. I've had 15 players get reffered through me which is more than enough.

With the way the game is, currently, the coach/owner cannot select specific plays for the games. You program in what kind of strategy you want for that game, and it goes from there for the actual gameplay.

IE, you'd get the following options to choose from for the game(s):

Run/Pass Percentage
Carrying Preference (HB/FB)
Running Percentage (Inside/Outside lane running)
Passing to Player Percentage (WR, TE, HB, FB)
Passing Type Percentage (Short, Long, Mid)

Then you have defensive options for zone, man to man, and pass rushing, ect.

So you don't pick the plays, but tell the game to choose what kind of plays you feel would be the best for your team. So if you did a high-percentage passing game, chances are, you'd be playing from the 'shot' more often.

Knowing how incredinly good Stan Gable's QB is (level 5), we might end up passing alot.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Id say we should play pressure D, blitzing alot. If we maintain a rapid secondary we reduce the risk of being burned deep from blitzes.

Cool... once we get everything set for the defensive options i'll know how to gear my guy. I assume we'll be good so we won't need a kick returner though if we go to a blitzing defense I'll have to get return specialist eventually to get the blitz skill.

Watching the play by play things has got me pretty pumped.
