Forums - Gaming - Best/Most memorable board/level in a video game

In your opinion...what is the best or most memorable level/board that you've played in a video game thus far?

As far as recently, the one that sticks out the most to me in the past few years is the Sniper level (All Ghilled Up + One Shot One Kill) from COD4. On Veteran, that level is intense and the ending part is hard as hell!! Also, Mile High Club on Veteran is BANANAS!!!! It took me a few dozen tries to beat that.

From my younger days, for some reason the first time I played Dark World/Land (level 8) in Super Mario Bros 3 comes to mind. It took all my concentration to get past the flying board the very first time I encountered it. I had to tell my little brother to go in the next room so that I could concentrate fully on the task at hand! lmao
I've played little to no PC games, but for some reason I'm anticipating a lot of PC game levels to be mentioned...

One of my most memorable levels is the first level from Shadow of the Beast for the Amiga. When this level first loaded up you were blown away with the 13 layers of parallax scrolling and awesome music. I'll still put it in today just to experience it again.
