I find it funny how Sony have done them way more favours this gen, for example they kept second hand game trading and even forced Microsoft to follow, they didn't allow EA access and haven't provided a similar service themselves like MS is doing. They're also responsible for the vast majority of their console hardware and software sales.

Yet you go into gamestop and more often than not their employees are biased towards xbox. If gamestop had sense they would reward Nintendo and Sony and push their products as much as possible over xbox.

Even funnier is how even after "MS moles" like Belluzzo and Elop didn't limit themselves to just favour MS in the relationships of their companies, but they went on totally sinking them, many companies keep on hiring people that actually work more for MS than for them and don't fire them.

It's hilarious.  Sony could have easily added current gen ps4 games to ps now,  allowed EA access and provided their own service too.  They could have followed MS and killed second hand game sales.

But they didn't.  Gamestop should really know their place because actions trump everything and MS actions damage them a lot more then Sony.

Around the Network

This MS service will have zero impact on gamestop and physical games overrall. The library will mostly be old games (like Netflix has old movies) and the big games will always sell physical. The majority of consumers shop at retailers because they like actually having the product and giving gifts as well as being able to trade games in. Consoles will never be digital only or adapt the mobile device method. Only on the internet do I hear this none sense lol. People trade in accessories and consoles, not just games and if you have multiple consoles who is going to pay twice for each console?

Good, I hate gamestop for their used game practices. I hate use games overall to be honest. It hurts the industry in the long run.
