After this last playthrough I will never go back to this broken game again. I did enjoy it, but not enough to put myself through the frustrations this game will make you go through.
Surveying is broken. It often marks hordes and enemies that are far off and you have to wait until they get close enough for the question mark to appear. Leaving you looking around for minutes at a time at already discovered locations hoping to find that last question mark.
Climbing ladders is simple enough but climbing back down is troublesome with how bad the controls are. You will often plunge down and hurt your guy even if you're trying to be careful.
Enemies walk right through closed doors. Once the zombie count on screen gets above 8 or so, the game starts to truly show how bad it runs. Combat would be amazing if it weren't for the broken engine this game runs on.
All the little bugs and glitches add up and get really frustrating after playing for 30+ hours. I found myself avoiding combat all together to avoid the many bugs that come with combating hordes.
The game is really good, even with all the issues. But it doesn't do anything particularly great. I really hope they do better with the sequel.
