Niche japanese games doesn't equal variety automatically. Microsoft has a great Sim racer, Arcade open racer, 2d side scroller game, Fighting game,FPS,TPS, Adventure,RTS, Sandbox game and more. Nintendo and Sony don't even have a game in some of those genres that are great. I rather have a company focus on games that cater to me and to the masses then focus on games that nobody has any intrest in outside of Japan. Which there is only about 4 million ps4 owners in Japan. Where is my big FPS game from Sony or Nintendo? I would love to see Sony bring back the Resistance series in a reboot. I loved Resistance

Did Sony and nintendo rape your puppy or something?
Cause dude, the things you say.... I find it hard to beliebe that you could actually mean them. Cause if you do then its really disturbing.

I actually can dig Nintendo games because they aim for fun and not focus completly on Japanese culture or a game cater to Japanese fan base. I liked the PS3 because it had a lot of games that cater to western games. Resistance games is an example of a game that sold bad, but the game cater to western gamers and scored very well. It only flop due to Sony lack of marketing and a few other reasons. However, the genre isn't niche because fps obviously sell well. I liked Warhawk, Twisted Metal, Ratchet and Clank,Mortor Storm, ect. Seems the exclusive games that everyone here brags about for ps4 are these niche japanese games that I could care less for the most part (I am intrested in Nioh however because it isn't aimed completly towards the Japanese culture/fanbase). I just feel a little abandon from Sony for not giving what their biggest fanbase (western gamers) the games they want in their first party. I am going to pick up Nioh and HZD. Other than that, I don't care for anything else this year.
Edit: Also, my other issue is we pay for PSN and a lot of Sony's first party doesn't have multiplayer mode or when they do it feels a little slapped on like uncharted 4.
