I guess I didn't read the other thread op on this well enough. I thought the whole idea was for the patch was that every game would see an improvment of some kind. It appears I've fucked up in my understanding.

Dead Island actually runs worse with Boost Mode on in my experience, was even choppier than usual when I tried it for 5 minutes, switched it back off.

Though for the most part Boost Mode is amazing!
