"Weak" is a bit of an understatement, lol.

Oh yes, they only have the potential GOTG dfor launch, absolutely horrible.

The GOTG will release in April, and only on PS3 and PS4 though...

And when you remove Zelda? You have a weak lineup dependent on one game - that is also on the wii U.

If a house falls because you remove one part - it had a weak foundation. Then you do the same to the lineup - it is a weak lineup.

It is a weak lineup by design actually. Zelda in March, Mario kart 8 in April. Mario later on this year etc.

A weak lineup, a strong year. Two very different things.

Oh, and what happens when you remove the potential GOTG?

And why the hell would you remove the pòtential GOTG lol

The way people acts like is not there is just amusing.

Weak? I don't know, maybe some people are too young to remember the Nintendo 64. It only had two games at launch and it went on to be a great system. I'm guessing that most the people doing the complaining don't plan on buying a Switch. Yes it would have been nice to have another major game to compliment Zelda like Mario or Smash Brothers, but if you don't like the lineup then wait until this summer or wait until Christmas. By then they'll have a lot to choose from. It's not like anyone is making you buy the system on day one.

No, what's amusing is seeing people say 1 game = great lineup.

This one game = potentially a great game. Launch line-up = not great.

Do you understand that distinction?

No, I don't understand how people would be praising a launch up of 20 generic games more than a launch up with a potential GOTG on it, I just don't. WiiU had like 30 games at launch, it was a horrible launch up anyways, not a single system seller on it.

Nobody acts like it's not there. You just fail to understand that one game doesn't make a good line-up by itself. No matter how great the game is.

Choices from a good range of compelling games is what constitutes a good line-up. What the Switch has in store for its launch is anemic at best. No matter how great BOTW is.

While I understand the folks who aren't finding something they want at launch, I think Nintendo is doing the right thing here. Breath of the Wild is a killer app; the rest is just gravy. Plus, early adopters and die-hard fans will snatch up the system in March, regardless. Better to space out the big games to keep up momentum throughout 2017 than front-load everything early in the year.

The spreading out and strategic releases part isn't really the problem though, the problem is that 1,2,Switch is a thing.
