What is/was the best new game (no ports/remaster) in January ? Vote @ Poll and write a comment : )

I vote for Yakuza Zero. A impressive story ala GTA 5, better fighting-system than "Sleeping Dogs" and interesting characters, incredible bossfights, great minigames and atmosphere. The reviews are awesome too, 84 % worldwide. The details are beautiful.

I can recommend the game especially newcomers. Meta-Score: 88 %. January was a awesome month for gamer :)

Definitely Yakuza 0!

I just always love how the series can continually put an immersive story in each of their game. I always enjoy their random humor and minigames too!

One of the best 3rd party Playstation exclusive series ever!

(Sure the HD remaster 1 & 2 went to Wii U but that was so late that nobody even cares about that port and was only in Japan, so this series is still exclusive to Playstation to the rest of the world)

Gravity Rush would definitely be my 2nd choice. January 2017 has definitely been a crazy awesome month for PS4 owners! And best part is that there's still many more to come!

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

I have only played REVII (haven't finished yet though) and is definitely NOT a contender for me, I think is being overrated to death, but maybe is just me.

I will pick up Tales of Berseria eventually, let's see if i can get some enjoyment from that one.

So I can't really give a response here.

I haven't played anything from January, so I can't really say.
That said, my friends have all been playing "Pokeland Legends" lately, described as Pokémon but with gacha-style progression tacked onto it.

This is a bit unfair as I've only played one of those games yet being Gravity Rush 2.

That said, it is an excellent title that I am loving playing.

many new games right now.. and next week Ni-Oh for PS4. THE game for Dark Souls/Bloodborne and Samurai-Fans, i think.
