Because even the "final" specs are not dramatically different to the "leaked" specs, thus those same people would have likely have made the same choice anyway, eventually... So blame Nintendo not the consumers or Digital Foundry. It's not their fault, it's Nintendo's.

Nintendo are not entitled to our money if they make business decisions that we do not agree with, same goes for Sony, same goes for Microsoft.

And placing blame? No one is being blamed for anything. Why do you feel the need to blame anyone? Digital Foundry's spec assumptions are affecting peoples purchasing decisions. That is a fact. Why cant you admit it.

No because specs aren't the be-all, end-all when it comes to winning a generation. If that were true, the Wii wouldn't have taken names like it did. Consoles win and lose based on many factors.

If Nintendo cannot come to the party with what consumers want, cannot communicate what they are presenting properly... Then that is no one elses fault but their own.
Fact is, some people are Hardware enthusiasts and wish to know every aspect.

Digital Foundry is just reporting what they have discovered and what their sources have substantuated, that is how reporting usually works, Nintendo would be privvy to all the rumors floating around and can put a stop to it instantly.

Because Digital Foundry is one of the best sources of tech information on the internet, they earned their respect, I will choose their opinion over someone like yourself (No offense) every day of the week. And that is the way it should be.

If the leaks are accurate then I'm all for them. They temper expectations, overhyping and the resultant disappointment is a big issue.
