Some sort of Fantasy world, like the Witcher or something. Though being as I'm not the "hero" I would refrain from that world. Witchers are insanely rare, and unless you are one you pretty much will get owned by everything.

But IDK, Breath of the Wild, Final Fantasy 8, Xenoblade X, Star Wars KOTOR. Yea probably Xenoblade X. I mean in that one the world is gorgeous, everyone is basically a superhero.

When I started this thread I could only think of pokemon. (Just didn't want to say it as wanted to hear other options.) Especially given how most people in the pokemon world are ignorant towards type advantages, even without being the hero, you could do pretty well for yourself. Also asuming you actually do only faint when you lose a battle it sounds a lot better than some other alternatives. A bit scary however how many criminal gangs you have running around with seemingly non existent law enforcement. Also the constant threat of some legendary pokemon destroying the world.

As to some other mentioned games, unless there are easy options for resurrection, I'd be very relucatant to live in a world with monsters being a constant threat.

However, Animal crossing seems like a good option. (if not a bit weird, like would you be a human or an animalized version of you, weird things to consider)

Kind of the idea I had before starting this thread. I mean most video game worlds only seem better if you're the hero.

Every video game world is usually some sort of negativity with it lol
