Forums - Gaming Discussion - star wars characters in soul calibur 4!!!

Hey guys this is new news to me and I was wondering if any one had opinions or insight into why Darth Vader and Yoda are in soul Calibur 4? Link, Spawn and Heihachi from SCII actually fit in with the whole martial arts/ demonic monster kind of characters but star wars is just down right weird!!! I loved having link in SCII on the GC but isn’t this a bit ridiculous?

"According to Namco Bandai's press materials for the game, Vader will be in the PS3 version and Yoda will be in the Xbox 360 version. You know, because PlayStation is black and Xbox is green." video

Old newssss but I forgive you.

"Why isn't samus in a mario kart game?"

yeah of course it's old! I only just stumbled upon it by accident, I didn't ask you if it was old or not I asked you of your opinion cos I'm a little put off of the idea of bridging futuristic kinda star wars characters with fantasy medieval martial arts :s

I like Yoda more than Darth Vader. Where is Chewie, Hans Solo and Luke Skywalker?

Yeah, it is kind of weird. I think it is stupid.

I don't know anything about the game, I take it that there is no Wii version.

There is no Wii version. Damn you Namco Bandai. All we get is Soul Calibur Legends.

I think they don't fit at all, but I'd be lying if I said I had no desire to play as Darth Vader in a fantasy/medieval fighting game.

Putting in a star wars character to sell the game, lol

I would've preferred Darth Maul, but it's not like I'll be buying either of these anyway.

Soul calibur is a Tekken or Virtua Fighter wannabe add swords and you have Soul Calibur.
