This price is just ridiculous I don't know what other people are thinking saying this is ok and those detachable controllers must of driven up manufacturing cost ether way I'm not touching this thing at that price as there are just too many better deals out there

Nintendo has always been a company that made games accessible to wide audience, but I fail to see how this works when you make the price of entry this high. Wii U suffered from a high price which Nintendo admited too and this is priced higher.

I guess Nintendo doesn't want your money then. You should be thankful that you can keep your money and spend it on something better. Like marked down milk!

That's up to you to decide, I paid $550 NZD at launch for the PS4 but wouldn't pay that price for a switch at launch. All comes down to preference really and how much value you personally thinks its worth. Since I play 80% of my games on Sony consoles I hold them as higher value so I'll risk paying more. You might be different and play 50% on xbox and 50% on Nintendo for example so could be on the fence about getting it straight away.

Anyways Im rambling about nothing lol just buy it if you want it or wait if you are unsure xD
