With Steam being the biggest platform for PC gaming, and Dota 2 and CS:GO being the biggest games in e-sports, Valve has literally no reason to make HL3.

Absolutely love the Half Life series. They are some of my favourite games. A real shame they have lost interest in developmenting if they have.

I love story led single player fps games. It's a good combination for me the unfolding story, exploring, puzzles and shooting. When I first played the original Half Life on something as lowly as a Pentium 120mhz it was a milestone moment in gaming.
