Forums - Microsoft - Confirmed: Scalebound Cancelled

I think Square Enix could be the new publisher and then the game with another name can appear on PS4. But only if enough players write the developer and Square Enix. Would be better than if it does not appear anymore. Now it's up to everyone, writes the developer. The success chances for the game would be good then :)

It's owned by MS, so it won't be going anywhere. Also it'd be better if it became a multiplat title, that way all other plays on other systems would be able to actually play it, not just PS4 users.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Bad timing - especially with Sony about to release an onslaught of exclusives, including:

Gravity Rush 2

Yakuza 0

Tales Of Berseria

Nioh

Horizon: Zero Dawn

Nier: Automata

MLB: The Show 17

Persona 5

And that's just over the next 3 months!...

People like to say MS doesn't take risks with games, thats always been false. Unfortunately when they do take risks they tend to pull the plug when things go wrong. I prefer Sony's approach with failed experiments. They spend the extra little bit to finish development so we can at least see what they were trying to achieve (The Order, Lair etc).

Don't forget all the games that would have been canceled by most other companies like Until Dawn and TLG and turned out to be great. I like their approach.

The PS5 Exists.

If the rumours are true about bad blood arising between PG and MS that could be worrying for PG fans on Xbox platforms as PG may opted to make other platforms the lead for their games in future and maybe even skip xbox platforms all together.

TLG was a huge fail imo. 8 years and a game with a lot of issues that probably lost Sony a lot of money.

Good thing your opinion doesn't hold much weight

Windowscentral isn't a legitimate source around these parts 😒

For reporting on something from Microsoft? Sure. Then we know where it's from.
Simply saying "sources" however doesn't do much to varify the information.

Good thing theres official MS PR talk about the issue then.

Straight from microsofts own mouth has to be good enough right?

Another excuse to burn your XB1 amirite? :kappa:

In all seriousness that really sucks.
