are you sure base PS4 will support HDMI 2.1...?

By jumping in I mean 4K TV and either PS4 Pro or, if its time, PS5. Just keeping the Old busted PS4 for now. I'm happy with it. I dont know if it will be happy with me though when there is a Switch dock sitting next to it.......
