Gameplay of God of war is a indicator that the game is neck deep into production already and that makes me hopeful for a release in 2017 with minimal delays.

PSN: Opticstrike90
Steam: opticstrike90

Christ 2017 is stacked and I have less time than ever before to play. Kill me now :'^)

I reckon Spiderman will coincide with the movie next year, would be silly for it not to.

God of War, spring 2018

NI No Kuni 2, Aug/Sep 2018

Death Stranding, Spring 2021
I know I'm missing some but can't remember.

No offense bud but you seem to be making these assumptions based largely off the "greatness awaits" delay philosophy people have developed around Sony. But honestly most of these release dates don't make any sense, why would Spider Man relesae in early 2019 and not coincide with the Homecoming Movie? Insomniac is a huge studio and they always release their projects on time even when having multiple projects. Ni No Kuni 2 doesn't have the production values for such a huge delay like that. Death Stranding has been confirmed to be much farther in development than most people realize, and the manager of the project is known for keeping artistic minds like Kojima on task. Days Gone...eh...I can see a 2018 release for that. Personally I believe that The Last of Us 2 will be 2018 but I know a lot of people don't agree with that. I'd also question God of War being so late but I can at least understand that.

But hey that's just from my point of view, this is a speculation thread after all, all opinions welcome :)

Your release dates are too ambitious, some of those games don't have a release year yet.

I'd put:
Ninokuni 2 in september 2017
Crash in October 2017
GT Sport in October 2017
Knack 2 in november 2017
Uncharted The Lost Legacy in November 2017 (big christmas title)

Detroit Become Human in February 2018
God of War 4 in March 2018 (god of war month)

Spiderman is probably April/May 2018 or else late 2018
Days Gone is likely late 2018

Shenmue 3 is late 2018/early 2019
Death Stranding is 2019
The Last of Us 2 is Q2 2019

The last 2 games will have had 3 full years of development time by then, so they should be ready by 2019. Shenmue 3 is likely to stumble on many problems due to being made on a smaller budget and team. Like all KS games it'll have delays.

Why are everyone putting Spiderman so far off? They mentioned one of their e3 interviews that it will be less than 2 years from that e3, so its either end of 2017 or start of 2018. They didnt show it at psx because this was mostly for new announcements, smaller games and games that come out before next e3. Only crash bandicoot was shown which were announced e3 and will be launched after next e3 and even that were shown to show how good that remaster looks.

Detroit Become human should be 2017 title, they never announce games earlier than 2 years from launch. Knack2, GT Sport, Uncharted, Crash, Wipeout(summer) should all be 2017. If Sony could have those games + either God of War or SPiderman next holiday versus Scorpio with red dead Redemption marketing then they would be set for very good holiday.

All of this is ofcourse my opinion and Spiderman release could still be delayed to late 2018, but what I saw in e3, I think we possibly could see it end of 2017, hopefully :)

God of war and spiderman are not 2018. They are 2017

Damn, Yakuza 0 or Tales of berseria?

I mean not really. I think with the amount of projects shown of last year, Sony is going to spend most of 2017 hyping up the projects they already have announced, instead of what they usually do which is show off like 50% new projects and then 50% of announced projects which wouldn't be enough marketing for the titles I mentioned that might release in 2017. I think we're going to get enough news on them for Sony to release them in 2017. Honestly it just makes a lot more sense than simply "It's Sony, we don't even have a release year, it's not releasing in 2017".

Most of these smaller-scope titles like Detroit Become Human or Ni No Kuni 2 don't really seem big enough for delays or 2018 releases. Detroit has triple A presentation, sure, but it's all about a close encapsulated space and the game looks like it already has a lot of options done. God of War is going to release November 2017 most likely to advertise the Pro. Which game is going to do that? Uncharted? No.  Why would Spiderman release so late? Because it was announced late? It's Spiderman, they could just go to e3, show a lot of the game, and then it would sell. Why would they release it almost a year after Homecoming? That doesn't make any sense.

Everything else I mostly agree with. Days Gone's probably going to be pushed to 2018.

But we all have our own opinions, maybe i'm being foolish not being so skeptical.
