I am sure some people who bought the game still enjoy it very much. Just like I am sure that even though the population was eradicated and the developer has moved on to other games, there are still people LOVING Evolve. I am talking about the majority of gamers though.

I don't know what you are talking about...... but the best way to regain peoples trust isn't to jump ship and do it all over again, but its to stick to your guns, make your existing game all that it was promised to be, the a year later re-release the game at quater its price in its ultimate form. 

Everyone will applaud you for the effort and write all your wrongs to growing pains of an indie small studio and all will be forgiven.

Yep, the team just ignored the 'noise' and got on with apologising in the most meaningful way. This is how it's done, and kudos to Hello Games for sticking with it and not just running away from the problem.

Yes. I mean the studio that went on to sell over 2M physical copies of their game even after their disastorous launch. And thats not even talking about digital sales.

And in case you didn't figure out, thats not why sony shut down the studio, or you didnt notice that even after the studio was shut down they were still releasing content for the game?

I'm glad Hello Games has learned from their mistakes and are starting to make up for them. The latest update has me really interested in getting the game. Definitely will sometime next year. Got way too many games on the back burner, right now, to put that much time into it. I'm guessing by then, it'll also be ~$20, so its win win.

I'd pick it up second hand. There are plenty of copies floating around right now so snap one up before the next update. Just Youtube NMS Survival Mode and you'll see the remarkable turnaround.
