General tip: With the rise of fake news, it's often wise to hold off on posting a thread decrying an act as prejudice filled until you can establish that there isn't another side to the story. Preferably with a source more reliable than a guy's twitter feed.

I already said this man is probably doing this for attention, and does nothing but make it worse for the arab's who aren't looking for attention and still get bad looks.

It's very annoying when I get glares in the airport for speaking arabic. Unlike him, I wasn't doing it for some stupid reaction or youtube video. This will simply make those who dislike arab's hate us even more

Your headline is still more than slightly misleading. In this case, he was kicked not simply for speaking Arabic, but for emulating a bomb's countdown in Arabic. The two carry very, very different connotations.

I'll grant that his stupidity does make things worse, and I'm not going to pretend that prejudice doesn't exist and that it doesn't seriously affect people. With that said, posting a thread like this, and then only realizing it was wrong and correcting it later just furthers the cause of these "pranks" by giving them more airtime.

Considering you left out the only good game releasing in the first half of next year minus Persona 5, let alone only in January I'm forced to vote for other, Night In The Woods.

So 68hrs into Stardew Valley since it released on PS4, haven't felt genuinely this invested in a game since Dragons Dogma. I've praised Life Is Strange and INSIDE and hell even called them GOTG at one point and still think they're 2 of the best this gen. But Stardew is just a whole nother level. I legitimately can't put this game down. It's beyond phenomenal.

You know there is such a thing as a harmless prank?

So you're not an asshole if your victim is not physically harmed?

I think I got some great news for those waterboarding pranksters.

It depends on the 'prank'

If it's something like putting a ps4 in an xbox box(sounds weird) or anything kind hearted like that, it's perfectly fine.

Modern pranks? They're horrible. I agree with you though. People seem to forget that pranks don't excuse you from being an Asshole

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Do you actually consider this harmless in any way shape or form?  There is no way this video is harmless in any way shape or form.

As I said above, I meant in general. :|

I don't support pranks like these at all. I thought they were saying that any prank makes you an idiot or an asshole.

I'm realizing that now :/

I honestly think it'd be best if the thread is locked.

Until the person gets a heart attack and dies. Willingly fooling or trying to negatively surprise people is NEVER "perfectly fine". It's just a dick move and people like you condoning it are just part of the problem.

Well, ok.

Not really gonna say anything because generally I'm against pranks that harm the person. Never thought I'd be criticized for simply supporting pranks that don't negatively harm others.

Guess I'm just an asshole who loves being rude to others.

I`d add on to this that if the person trying to negatively surprise somebody ends up getting shot or killed then that`s entirely their own fault. Self defence isn`t a crime.

So if you want to jump out at people to scare them and one of them pulls out a gun and shoots your face off... too fucking bad.

Now just imagine being killed by a paranoid that overreacts to anything. Speaking Arabic isn't jump scaring people, there have been scientists reported as Arab terrorists by ignorant people with shit instead of brains in their skulls and kicked off planes for having a beard and writing math formulas with greek letters.

Why are you defending that schmuck?

Delta have already made a statement that after interviewing staff and other passengers they found that the guy had been shouting and making a scene prior to being kicked off.

Given his track record I am going to chalk this one up to pulling a Joey salads, using accusations of racism to boost his publicity.

What a twat.
