Beyond Two Souls 2 someday ? i hope it. Detroit Become Human is for me one of the biggest dreams ever. I had always wanted such a game. With such a theme / story. i think, the release is in summer 2017 for PS4. But after this...

Detroit BH

the two questions are: Someday... a Beyond Two Souls 2 ? What do you think ?

And what is the true "Beyond Two Souls-Ending" ?
Is that known? is "Jodie" alone or does she go to someone at the end?

I'd rather have a sequel to Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy personally.

Can you tell something about "Fahrenheit" ? The chance is very low, right?

In Beyond Two Souls I liked the horror elements and the (snow, desert, underwater lab-)worlds. I am also interested in the themes/topics "Death and Beyond". Theoretically, you could make a half-horror game & half adventure out of "Beyond Two Souls 2" when the world gets dark. That is my idea. And then with a final end of "Jodie". I liked her english voice, sympathetic character :)

I'd describe it as an adventure mystery game. The plot is about a guy who gets possessed and kills somebody, then wakes up from the possession and realizes what he's done and has to flee. You play as both the killer, trying to figure out who possessed him, and as the 2 police detectives who are tracking him down. Won't spoil too much for you, but the story takes some crazy twists and eventually goes full on Matrix, it's great. Had an open ending that left the door open for a sequel, but it never got one.

ah okay, thanks :) i see, you can buy the game in the PS4 Store. Its the ps2 version, maybe someday for me.

ps. i love this soundtrack by Beyond Two Souls

no love for "jodie" ? Damn it. I hate you all. The world will go down as shown in Beyond Two Souls. I do not save you !! : P

But still ... Merry Christmas ^^

Nah, new game like they always do, no sequels.

I like all their games btw.

I'm looking for the option of "Oh god, I hope not".
Sorry if I ruffle any feathers, but Three Souls was David's worst work if you ask me. It's a whole bunch of unconnected scenes he desperately wanted to put to screen, and a threadbare plot to loosely tie them together, with a total Cypher of a main character needed to make it all work. Which is a shame, because I love Ellen Page.
Now, she's a rebellious teen!
Now she's a badass CIA agent single-handedly taking down entire governments!
Now she's in the desert doing native American spirit magic!

But that's kind of David's problem: He makes really good scenes. Short, contained scenes. They're really compelling. But then he tries to tie them together in a larger narrative and everything sort of... sucks. I think he sort of writes in reverse in that way, going by Aristotle's six elements of play. I think he needs to focus on writing a compelling series of events first, and only then thinking about how he's going to dress the scenes up with action and acting and style.
As he writes at the moment, it's akin to crafting really nice muscles, in seperate rooms from eachother, then bringing them all together and awkwardly trying to stuff a skeleton inside this flesh after the fact.

I loved Kara (and I think for the reasons I just cited, that he should stick to short film) but I'm kind of dreading Detroit a bit. I love robots, cyborgs, questions of inteligence and conciousness, etc. But if it's all about "robots are people too because they have emotions!" I think it's going to fall flat due to David's very shallow grasp on "emotionz!".
But I heard a while back that he was working on a comedy. Does anyone else remember that?
I'd actually like to see what a Quantic Dream comedy looks like?
These interactive films don't need to be so serious all the time. Until Dawn was really schlocky and that was basically the best game Quantic Dream never made.

Beyond Two Souls was absolutely brilliant and easily Cage's best work. I would by all means love a sequel, but I'm well aware that it ain't happening. The first one didn't do very well (both commercially and critically) and I don't see Ellen Page agreeing to do a sequel.

Detroit looks fantastic and a step towards the right direction (as was Beyond by being more of a game and less of a movie), but I'm not sure about the protagonist. She looks quite generic. I just don't think anyone could compete with Ellen.

If no second part comes ... what is the true Beyond Two Souls-Ending then?
Detroit Become Human looks really fantastic. Its so beautiful and the characters looks interesting/awesome.
I'm very curious about the new gameplay features, and especially the story / characters :)

I would love it if they made something like Stranger things or a good adoptation of Girl with the dragon tattoo. (the book, not the movie)

No idea. Maybe there was no true ending? I know that many games have those, but I'd like to think that not all do.
