I swear if it's lower than 80...

But I know I'll love it forever.

Nice gif. The guy's a f***ing genius!

Since people are posting their predictions fron the other thread, mine was 93. Some day, I'm gonna look kinda smart-ish with a wild home run pick. Not today though.

Up to 83 now. My prediction is winning!

It seems like the game is let down by clunky controls and technical issues. General praise towards character development and atmosphere. So, yeah, it's still a insta-buy. The pros far outweight the cons imo in this particular game for me. That's what I was looking for, that's exactly what I expected.

That's what I always say, it's far more important reading through the actual reviews than the score. Some reviewers outweight more the controls and framerate issues, so they'll give the game lower scores. Some of them outweight the atmosphere and character development. So scores are all over the place.

Not bad for a game stuck so many years in development. I honestly don't know how could some of you predict over 90. The times of ICO and SoTC being unique are long gone, since plenty of new games have taken the mantra and improve over them while respecting their roots. That doesn't prevent The Last Guardian from being great, since it has an 8'2 in metacritic, and I don't know you guys but that's some nice result, but The Last Guardian needed much more than "uniqueness" to carry out through a +90 score.

Only review I was interested in was Sterlings

Awwww, it's a shame the only review you were interested in was one of the few negative ones.

83 based on 39 reviews!

Numerical scores ultimately don't matter, but would have been nice if it had been higher.

Probably, you're right. I thought that the uniqueness of the game, and a old-school experience, with good character development and story would carry more weight in the end to have a general praise. Seems I was wrong. I can't deny it's probably "outdated". It's a game who would have general praise years ago, maybe. 80+ is still a good score for those people who care too much about that.
