xbox one is doing well with 5 bundles in the top 100

Conisdering 4/5 are oustide of the top 50, I doubt even if you combined them all it would be in the top 30. With the PS4 slim at #1 it's handily being outsold.

Pro is out of stock. Who knows how well it would sell if wasn't.

Metal Gear, Final Fantasy and Resident Evil seems to be doing pretty well, not in decline. I think that Resident Evil 6 would have outsold the 4 if it wasn't ported to every single toaster in the planet.

Street Fighter, despite the flop this gen, did very well last gen. But this has more to do with Capcom's mistakes than with the market. Why would someone purchase a broken game on launch ?

Which Japanese franchises declined in recent years ?

Final Fantasy has absolutely declined lol, Gran Turismo has declined, Resident Evil 5 did pretty well but Resident Evil 6 fell massively after that, Sonic has fallen to irrelevance because it sucks, Onimusha has dissappeared, Pro Evo Soccer has went from being a legitimate competitor to Fifa to basically nothing, Tekken has declined a lot from its peak and ugh.... Mega Man. Sure, there are some exceptions, like Souls Games, and as you say, Metal Gear Solid V performed in the realms of its predecessors (but not good enough for Konami to keep on making AAA games apparently).

Tekken and Megaman stopped making games there is no way to judge how well they sell.

Resident Evil did pretty well, on par with previous games.

Sonic isn't irrelevant. Sega focused on the mobile market and on sending Sonic as a character for some Mario games. We can't measure download numbers.

Onimusha wasn't that popular. Back in the day, AAA games costed the same that Indie games cost nowdays. A company could make multiple projects at the same time.

Konami's CEO hate games. If mobile or panchiko did the same profit ℅ of a AAA game, he would not think twice, even with the fact that this won't bring loyal fans.

How did FF declined if it is the fastest selling tittle?

Gran Turismo launched after PS4's launch as a PS3 exclusive. Even so, the game outsold every other racing game, the other ones from other companies, sold 5+ Millions.

With a PS4 version, it could have sold 8-10 Millions just like The Last of Tijolo did.

FF still as popular as ever it seems. The western press disenfranchised with J-games can't hold it down. ;) Can't wait to see what the Media Create numbers look like.

0.75 M is the best case scenario. ( Edit: not including the PS4 limited bundle ) FF is on a big decline in Japan. But looking at the shipment numbers. It seems to be bigger than ever elsewhere.

Wow, you were a little over, but in the ballpark at least. Guess the FF magic is fading over there. :(

Haters gonna hate. Waste of time.

You'd better ignore him.

I expect MS to announce the same, with likely a few days added. I kind of wish Sony would drop the Pro price as well, though I completely expected that they wouldn't. I just want more people to jump into the Pro goodness :)

They should at least thrown in a game with the Pro. Not getting a game if you're simply upgrading from the PS4 to PS4Pro is fine but if the Pro is your entry into the PS4 eco system you're obviously gonna have to spend even more to get at least 1 game.

True, Infinite Warfare would be a good choice, it really does look pristine on the Pro and runs better as well. Plus, you know, they paid a hell of a lot for marketing rights to the COD franchise...
