Forums - Gaming - Your most disappointing game ever?

Street Fighter V! I played it one hour a day for a week and then I never played it ever again. That game ruined one of my most beloved franchises.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Armourines on N64 after the amazing Turok trilogy and rage wars was hyped to play another FPS from acclaim. Unfortunately it wasnt very good.

Halo and Zelda Ocarina of Time.

They weren't bad games but I felt they were over hyped. So I guess I was just more disappointed at the hype of the games than the games themselves.

Diablo III.

The itemisation was terrible, the late game was terrible, the writing was terrible, the dialogue was terrible, the dev team obviously didn't have a clue what made Diablo II so great, and to top it off they were outrageously arrogant and disrespectful to the people who had made a far superior product 12 bloody years earlier.

Fuck that game even sharing the same name as Diablo and Diablo II.

And no I won't give it another chance Trucks.

i agree i bought the CE from the internet for like 185€ when it was sold out at my local store, huge dissapointment. The graphics were poor too, Champions of Norath had better visuals and that was a PS2 game

many people have games on their disappointment list due to hype.

personally I avoid all forums or articles for a game until I play through at least 25% of the game. That way I avoid biased thoughts or hype that ends up killing a game(cough cough No man's Sky and Mighty No. 9 cough)

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Fire Emblem Awakening.

I could agree with this. I didn't really think of Awakening as a disappointment until I started becoming disenchanted with it halfway through. The initial love for being able to just play a new Fire Emblem game stopped midway and it led to the realization that it was far, far from being as great as any of the home console games or Blazing Sword.

It's not that it is a bad game, but it casualized and trivialized plenty of the core Fire Emblem elements too much for the sake of a broader audience.

Madagascar for the Nintendo DS. I was young and foolish. I keep the game as a reminder to be a better person.

Dragon Age II. I loved Dragon Age: Origins and was really looking forward to Dragon Age II. I would not have liked Dragon Age II even if I had no expectations but since my expectations was so high after playing the first one it easily became my most disappointing experience playing a video game.
