I am black, but not your typical black guy that listens to rap and trys to act liek a gangster etc... but i have to admit, i sterotype sometimes. for example when i see another black guy that dresses like soulja boi near my house, i take precautions. or when i bought this ps2 controller of this indian guy, i was afraid it would be broken because "indian peopel are cheap". i am also sterotyped, like when i go to EB Games to buy a game, i notice the workeer pretends hes fixing games to get closer to me, even though there is no possible way of stealing the game. also i went into a soccer store, with my black cousins and the store clerk followed us all around the store. im not saying that its because im baclk, it also couldve been that im a young person.
also, i wouldnt sterotype if i havent been taught these things. now i am really trying hard to not sterotype people.
but there are also sterotypes you HAVE to believe in, like if you see a guy that dresses liek s street person and hangs out on the corner, he is most likely a bad guy.
ive also aterotyped agisnt white people. i once thought that all where racist, but i finally got my herad outta my ass and i started hanging out with white people and otehr races, and those sterotypes that i see on the web, are very very false.
but come on, you have streotyped agaisnt another race at least 5 times in your life.
