Dang, delays really have become a standard things in the industry, more so than before. I never expected it to happen to P5 as well, and the reasoning seems kind of odd too. I'm shocked that the Japanese voice overs weren't originally included, when that used to be a staple in many JRPGs. Though in the end, I don't really mind. I'll play it when it comes out. I've grown to be patient as an adult Also, I just can't be mad at ATLUS. They're still releasing the PS3 version long after the release of the PS4.

I think that`s actually a pretty recent trend and even then more often the case with lower budget ones that don`t want spend the money on English voices. Seems most of the time they have either Japanese or English voices only with the option of both being pretty rare, and often celebrated, still.

Edit: Oh and I`m fine with this, gives me more time to get `round to playing the game before the rest of y`all get it

Seems like a pretty sad trend to me ;( And Persona 5 isn't quite a small budget game either. What happened to the days when JRPGs just came with both of them? T_T It is so odd to have the Japanese voices now?

And when did you become a southerner..? o:

I was born in the south....

...of England, but it still makes me a southerner

And I always use y`all as a shortened form of you all. Shortened forms of things are good

XD Haha, you're a southerner too, and I thought only people in the southern US would use y'all.

To get manga first hand? XP

Yes, that will be a great point to the trip. I'll also get all the Japanese Vita games without abusive shipping and tax costs! ^^

Oh that sucks(the not being able to play part obviously).I have been in a similar position, when I stayed in Germany for 1 year and couldnt play home console games during the same period.Well, hopefully you can compensate that by playing on arcades and the Vita and 3DS Japan exclusives!Arcades must be awesome over there. When I see a video about it, they seem like giant colorful blackholes that pull you in by the sheer size and number of games there XD

I'll surely try the arcades... But the hardest part is to understand what you're supposed to do! I've seen a few videos too and it's not always easy to understand!

Why not? I`m studying in Japan right now and I brought my PS4 with me in my luggage. Bought a cheap PC monitor when I got here and now I can game

And you didn't have any problem with the plane and the controls at the airport? Your console didn't break? ^^ I'll think about it, depending on the room left in my luggage. Yeah, I think that I'll give in and get a TV and maybe even a console (used in the worst case) eventually, but it will depend on several factors (apartment, roommates, schedule), and I won't do it in the first few months, I'll surely be busy enough :)

Yeah, there are even a save system in place, a card that you get from the arcade so you can save your data from games so that you can keep playing like a normal console game. Its really different. But since you already speak japanese, and in a 3 to 6 month time it will greatly improve, I think you will be fine!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
