of course it can. at 20 fps or so.
well, i hope every game that doesnt run at 4k@60 give the choice to run at either 4k@30 or 1440@60

CPU is more important for framerate not resolution

I dont see Rise of the Tombraider there or COD Infinete Warfare

Yikes, no need to be so dramatic. Apply context to the post with the thread and its clear I am talking about its ability for AAA 4k gaming. If Scorpio is barely going to do any of it, then logic dictates the Pro will do even less :) |
Light hearted banter not dramatic. Your post is the dramatic one since Sony never targeted native 4k AAA in the first place.

Bull. Bigger picture, yes, we can say that announced Scorpio specs are basically "barely" able to regulaly pull off AAA @ 4k. |
they are not varied, they just prove which game really is AAA game visually. Uncharted 4, RoT, FFXV for example all 1440p.

12gigs of Vram is an insane amount if its GDDR5 ram. Thats more than the new Nvidea 1080 card which is claimed to run 4k easily with 8gigs. Also no one is saying 4k and 60 frames (Maybe X1 Exclusives games like Halo 5 which already run at 60 frames, than you have a native 4k at 60) MS never claimed 60 frames. They claimed native 4k. If gamers are spreading rumours about 4k at 60 than there going to be highly disapointed. |
This is a console made for VR. In the announcement video, Fallout 4 VR was clearly mentioned, as well as the fact that the console would be capable of playing games in 4K resolutions at 60Hz.

from 1080p to 1440p its an 80% increase in pixels. HDR, 4K textures and other visual benifits coming along 4K gaming needs also performance

Whatever you need to tell yourself to explain your dramatic replies, whatever. There was absolutely nothing in my post indicating Playstation is doomed :)
And ahahaha @ that bullshit at the end of that post. 4k was literally the first thing they mentioned when talking PS4 Pro. And I don't remember them saying native 4k is indie/remaster only.

Spoiler alert :
If they genuinely wanted AAA native 4k they've have released an $800 console. whoever takes pr as Gospel?
And I find it ironic you calling my post dramatic after reading that reply.
One thing you can be certain of, there are more 4k native titles on PS4 Pro right now, today, than there'll be in Scorpio's lifetime. It's also basic math, just not the same kind of math.
