I just noticed, though: Mr.P hasn't posted since around the time he voted for himself. I think he (as maf) made a mistake in claiming BP, realized it, and gave up. Does that fit his meta, @anyone reading this?

Also, I think just about ready to end the Day anyways. Hopefully Tomorrow will bring new info.

well, we are waiting for noctis as I cought it

No, it can be helpful in deducing your alignments; however, those massive walls can be quite headache-inducing as well.

I can push prof if you would like , Not my fault if massive walls of text follow xD.

It wouldn't hold the same weight now that I've said that. I already believe prof is town, but you're free to push him if you want.

The question then becomes is Mr.P telling the truth or prof.. Or Both?.

If Mr.P's claim is false then clearly prof was also lying.

Yeah, that's true.

On the other hand, even if Mr.P is maf, he could still be BP. That particular scenario doesn't prove anything about prof, nor vice-versa. Prof could be lying, and Mr.P telling the truth. Frustrating af, lol.

Yes. The only way we'd know prof is lying is if Mr.P flips anything not-BP.

You are still coming online and you haven't posted elsewhere, so I will assume you are still reading the thread.

Will you continue playing? Your lynch is not set in stone, and if you're truly town your thoughts on other matters could be helpful.

Votals

..

With 11 players alive, it takes 6 to lynch. If the day ends without enough players voting, the player with the most votes will be lynched

What if Clyde successfully drew maf attention, but also drew doc attention? In other words, what if prof made up his story?

I don't think that's likely. If Clyde is town, his hint would give mafia doc fear. Which means they'd either strongman the kill or lean towards a "free" kill somewhere else. They might also have a roleblocker to stop Clyde rather than killing.

Similarly, a mafia Clyde could have tried to draw doc protection to more easily take out an intended target.

Thanks for the input. Some solid points here that I didn't think of.

I wouldn't hold my breath. It's probably more hunches.

One thing that keeps giving me a scum vibe is that, from his perspective, prof is extremely suspicious. Prof claimed to have stolen his power, yet he claims he got no notification of this even happening, let alone being used up.

From a town Mr.P's perspective, prof is all but confirmed maf, yet he never pursued it. The narrative just doesn't sit right with me.

Also, on more silly/selfish note: I really wanna see what Mr.P flips :p

I do wonder if Mr.P ever tried to ask Trucks the questions I suggested he do.

second topic being me warm towards Darwin and darwin/me being both mafia. I would like to hear here why he didn't mentioned how likely he deems the inverse. I find the second part of that post kinda lacking in argumentation, as in, how likely he sees it that even one of us is scum, because if he thinks it is a 25% chance that exactly one of us is scum and then gives 70% of that too me it is completely different in meaning than when he thinks it is likely (lets say 80%) that one of us is scum and then says I am 70% likely to be scum in that constellation. It kinda lacks the commitment to a clear statement and it is FFs first thing I fully dislike about his play, because it kinda prevents me from looking into further interaction in this regard. It reminds me of his page 3 post (which I still deem fine in early-ness of the game at that point). It gives me that vibe that he wanted to keep his hands clean on an early (easy) lynch but then when it lost traction wanted to keep it on peoples minds.

Overall I found my first thing that does irk me, I am not sure if this is just because it majorly involves me or it struck that much because it is that I am also the only person I can be sure of is town and that is why I was much more aware of him doing what I think his intention was.

You're right about spurge.

To answer your question on probabilities, I was indeed confining myself to the question of "what if exactly one is scum" because I didn't have a set idea of exactly how likely I thought it was that you were both scum, or just one, or neither.  I was thinking that it was reasonably likely that at least one of you was scum, but I couldn't have put a number on it, especially numbers differentiating "one" from "both".  Since the topic of discussion was one of you being scum buddying up to someone, I saw the idea "what if exactly one is scum" to be the important question (given my "reasonable likelihood" standpoint).  After all, if you both were, then there was no wrong guess.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.
