The question is "Why was I surprised that prof wasn't the kill if, as an active person, he is [by my own reasoning] likely to be guilty?", is it?

Because, even if I had a lot of suspicions about him being mafia, I still didn't know it 100%. I was surprised Baalz was the one targeted, because I hadn't put that much thought into him, and I thought that someone more active would die the first day. Prof, Stefl, Spurge, you... I thought you all had bigger chances of being targeted and killed, and I was not that far off considering Prof said that he was victim of an attack. Inmediately after the first night, I was really sure Prof was scum due to the reasons already explained, but if that attack is true, then that idea was wrong apparently.

Yes it was, thank you. Probably my last question on the matter: Why do you think mafia would target an active player?

To get rid of the potential bigger threats before the game starts to speed up. It's easier for mafia to win if the remaining players are not that active, because that could mean they are not paying that much attention to the game, and can be confused easier.

Indeed. I'm just getting a sense of how rational you are.

1st question: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8168170 Maybe a bit dramatic of me to call that a trap, though :P

2nd question: About why I think Mr.P is innocent. I don't think his actions or strategies match with Mafia. He was somewhat active at the beginning, until he got a lot of people progressively pointing fingers at him, and them he just pointed himself as a target by voting himself. I think that's the last thing a mafia would do, because of reasons I've explained before (you either blend in, or you convince everyone to accuse another one). If he's doing this, it's in a somewhat desperate attempt to avoid the lynch, but I don't think this trick can work (or even if it does, he won't be able to repeat it twice). And if he's doing this because he's tired of the game, he should just say so or do like Spurge did. A dead outside of the game like that is no fun. That's the reason I asked Mr.P why he's doing this.

It would be fair to say Clyde tried to lay a trap at the end of Day 1, for Night 1. As I pointed out to miz, that doesn't necessarily make him town. Early Day 2 Clyde merely claims his trap was unsuccessful.

Why is your vote on Mr.P when you think he is innocent?

I have no idea what is Mr.P. trying to do. If he has a plan, I'll keep the vote, if he's just doing this to leave the game, he should do like Spurge did and ask a mod for a replacement so the game can keep going naturally.

Either way, you could be costing us our lynch opportunity for someone you don't believe is guilty. What kind of plan do you think he could have?

I don't know what he's thinking, that's why I want him to answer that question.

No, it can be helpful in deducing your alignments; however, those massive walls can be quite headache-inducing as well.

Is he able to answer the question without you voting for him? Do you think he's more or less likely to answer it if he's actually lynched?
