Raises hand
Anyone thinking Mr.P is town making newb mistakes, I'd direct you to read the first Day of round 72, which Mr.P himself asked us to do.
As I already stated, he was far more active in that game than in this one until called out.
However, here's a real gem:
"The duty of a town is too lynch out any suspects ( While keeping a low profile so as to avoid getting killed )"
I'd say this demonstrates a clear knowledge of what town is supposed to do and how mafia are likely to respond to the play of townies. So why would a BP townie that thinks they can't be killed at night keep such a low profile?

yay! Linkz finally on board the darwin train. You'll have to point out what you saw later, I can't think of anything. And clyde too!? Is it my birthday? Oh and you think stefl. Well, hootananny and a holler, I like this post a lot.
*gets killed at night by linkz* One thing I will say about you linkz, I'm actually a bit concerned that you're agreeing with my views so much. Either I somehow bumbled my way into the same reads, or I'm completely wrong and you're leading me down a dark path. Normally I'd say we conflict on a lot of suspects. But, this is nice.
Although, I strongly disagree about mrp. You say he's playing as if he doesn't have that role. Was it you who said earlier that they believe the role, just not the alignment? Either way, I think he's playing expectedly how he would if he had the role. He was scared of being lynched, so threw it out there. He responded with sarcasm to almost every accusation, it seems fitting for him to also throw his role in their face, imagining that it would save him. I think, not to be full of myself, but I think he's mimicking what I did last game when I claimed the doc role. I see a possibility existing wherein he imagined it would make everyone look stupid. It kinda follows his behavioral state. Additionally, he picked my suspects, so I like that about him. |
Wasn't ignoring this either, just didn't have time to respond before work.
I said at the peak of the Stefl lynchtrain, that I liked it, but I wanted there to be another option available. But that has lost all steam even though there's been some suspicions raised about a connection with darwin. People are afraid to put in work to find someone scummy and will fall back on the easier lurker lynch, and I think Clyde fits that active lurker role moreso than Noctis.
I think it was Baalz that said that. I'm still going to disagree about him playing expectedly.(See my latest post.) He knows lurking makes someone suspicious to others yet did it himself. He fingered you and made a fair point about Xander in Round 72, but this round he's resorted to mod-metaing the makeup of scum accusing people in groups, with no real reasoning for any of them, nor any distinction between them. I think the only explanation given for any names thrown out was that Stefl, Baalz, and I had all voted for him.

I re-read your posts about Mr.P. I think I understand now why you suspect him. I hope I'm right.
And yeah, this demonstrates his self-awareness. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt about not understanding how voting works (when he supposedly felt super pressured to claim).
I also think it's too late to bandwagon on NoCtiS_NoX, even though I agree with how lynching lurkers is better than NL now. So yeah, voting with fingers crossed...
Vote: Mr.Playstation
Now we're tied with the NoLynch option. Prof... I think it might be up to you, since I don't think anyone is online.

this is primarily why I don't think mr.p is scum. I think it's just too easy for people to jump on board.

I should have half an hour left, I'm reading round 71 where he was scum. I'll try to be quick
GL, man.
Fuck, this is stressful, yet exciting xD
I hope Mr.P flips maf, because otherwise I will be devastated.
Well one thing I've noticed is that in games where he's mafia he has a tendency to call lots of people scum, undermine their credibility, and he's generally very aggressively trying to lynch someone. I'll read the town games quickly now.
I also just reread this one and he doesn't fit the same playstyle.
I will be back
As far as Mr. P goes, I've always been hung up on when he got called out for lurking.
He never once tried to defend himself on it, but rather he just threw out some names to get people off of his tail.
The way he worded it was a pretty clear way of saying something akin to "I've been paying attention to the game and here are my findings", when in reality I don't think anything he said had anything to do with the things actually happening in the game. This is clear when he just flat out said "Why not?" when asked why he put his suspects up.
The only thing that's stopped me from placing a vote on him so far has been Prof's posts on the matter. Some of of the things he said after he was put under pressure does seem genuine.
I'd say there's still a chance he is town, albeit a smaller than usual chance, but there's no denying that there is definitely some information to be found by a lynch considering how long Mr. P has been a topic.

Here's hoping we make the right choice.
