Day 1 lynches provide tons of information, even if it does ultimately lead to a townie dying. You can analyze the votes, who was eager to vote for people, etc.

You obviously run the risk that you kill an important role (assuming this isn't vanilla, I don't recall if it has been declared as such), but without the lynch, you effectively give the mafia a free night and we start day 2 with little more than we had on day 1.

With the little we currently have, I'm going to put a vote out for Stefl. I feel like his not wanting a day 1 vote, plus really questioning those who do reeks of him wanting to get to night and avoid something catastrophic for the mafia.

Vote: Stefl

My initial vote on him was based on a pretty minor vibe as it was (as indicated with the "with the little we currently have"). He made a pretty big comment before my unvote that made me lose my confidence that he was scum. It isn't to say he isn't or can't still be scum, merely that I don't think I have any confidence in it to justify a vote.

I can't continue this convo until you figure out what my role is.

Hey.  I need to know for the record, are you formally roleclaiming bulletproof?  If not, are you under a special restriction that you cannot disclose your role?  Wink-and-nod roleclaiming really pisses me off, partly because the ones with the best chance of figuring it out are mafia who can put their heads together.

I am indeed a bulletproof townie. Also I'm not under any special restriction. Now everyone can figure it out :P/

Xander was online recently and still no posts #LynchXander

I'm curious, which town role would have bulletproof?

Why would you say you're equivalent to two town people?

How do you think you're almost confirmed town, before you fully roleclaimed even? Do you understand what confirmed actually means?

Ok, Mr p needs to stop talking about his role. Like right now.

I'm pretty sure of the thought of which role would illicit this type of post, but to clarify in a way, you were not thinking of BP correct?

At the time, I didn't know, he had just been talking far too much about his role for little reason. It wasn't until he asked me if I knew that I felt compelled to find out. I was pretty content with "something better than a double voter".

The plain variety.

I'm gonna be 100% honest here, the experiment I wanted to run was to test Mr. P for double voter power. So I guess scratch that one off. At this point I'm a bit confused about the whole thing. I'm not ready to let him off the hook, but on the other hand I really don't like Baalz's vote, so I'm going to cancel it out.

I figured that's where you were going with your post and Baalz should be able to realize that a double voter can be tested too. So, I too don't like he interpreted the same claim and yet voted as he did.

No the sentiment isn't new, but darwin is.
I'm pretty sure linkz has darwin as a candidate for lynching.

I have darwin pegged as a certain town role actually, so I'm not too fond of the idea of lynching him toDay. It's far more based on meta than his participation so far, but even barring that I wouldn't want to lynch a first-timer Day One. Additionally, I think it'd be easier to identify him as scum based on flips of his mates than the other way around.
