Okay so out of the assumed three mafia members at least one of them is a pro otherwise it would be suicide. I'd bet on either axumblade or Stefl. Also getting scum vibes from Clyde32.

Why axum or Stefl?

I am still getting a bad vibe with Final-fan.
I can help it though and normally my instincts are correct.

@Final-fan..
It's funny though when Links is onto you, you quickly divert the attention onto somebody else.

So you think that BOTH Stefl and I are scum?  That's the only way to make sense of me downplaying my suspicion of Stefl and bringing up a lurker lynch (Xander) in response to Linkz's suspicion.

Why would that have to be the case? You could be downlplaying what you know to be a mislynch as well to distance yourself from it. Lurker lynches are far less scrutinized than active players.

The goal is to lynch scum, mislynches happen. What makes you think that lynching an innocent person is going to be subject to revenge?
Is this your first game?

Here, yes. I've played other similar games in the past, and you can bet that, in those, if you myslinched someone, they would go to get you. Fast.

Were these games in person? Considering how many people it takes to cause a lynch, did they go after everyone on the first mislynch?

You should be able to tell us at least some thoughts about whats going on so far >_> (even without miz'magic)

Well, at this point I don't know who might be more dangerous, the players that overanalyze from the beginning, or the ones that are not saying much. Although I'm weary of TheProf, though, that lenghty analysis from yesterday points to him being a dangerous player, but I don't know if he's mafia or not yet. Need more time.

How is prof a dangerous player, especially when you don't seem to have a mafia or town lean on him?

Testing I am having a bad vibes from Finalfan. Just a heads up. I am sleeping when it gets busy here. Time Difference.

One of spurge's comments made me look back and read around, and I found this^

I think I feel way better about voting Noctis than Stefl.

Vote: NoCtiS_NoX

I'd definitely appreciate some thoughts, though. I prefer Lynch to NL, and now I prefer Noctis to Stefl.

Was it a specific comment from spurge that made you look at Noctis, or just caused you to reread?

Good find? Mind explaining or would you like Noctis to respond to your vote first?

I think if Stefl is third party he would be a safe lynch regardless of what his role was. The main positive side of lynching on day 1 is the amount of information that comes out of it. If we were to lynch a third party on the first day we would garner all the benefits without losing an actual townie in the fray.

I wanted to give this post some time to see how the idea would play out. I'm midly disappointed that it didn't pick up a lot of steam because that would have raised some flags for me. While I stand by my statement that third party needs to be lynched/killed, choosing to lynch someone based on thinking they are third party is a dangerous plan. It doesn't really garner all the benefits of a typical lynch because it's not truly scumhunting. Mafia can easily blend in with town, but really they're just taking out a possible threat.

But the scenario is that I get fingered by you, go "oh no! better focus suspicion on someone else", and then try to start up a lurker lynch singlehandedly instead of egging on the Stefl lynch train or something else that seemed to have more traction.  A mislynch on Day 1, that I wasn't even the primary architect of, isn't something I'd plausibly need to fear association with IMO.

I mean, you do make more sense out of Noctis's actions than I was imagining, but I still can't imagine that he's giving me much credit as scum.  It seems to me that his picture of me is flailing around at the first real suspicion.  I mean, I respect you, Linkz, but I don't panic just because you look at me funny.  Now, if you and prof were tag teaming me and the votes were starting to roll in...

Yes, they were in person, and usually the townspeople usually have more than one life so they didn't inmediately die. Also, usually in them the ones that talked the most were trying to distract people from themselves. But I don't know how it works here.

But you would have been the 4th vote, which I believe is one of prof's things to look for. And it's also possible that while you wouldn't just feel pressure from me,(or me+Noctis) that you're setting up a future mislynch of Stefl in case you flip first.

Anyway, I think you're misinterpreting Noctis's second bad vibe post, but that's for him to clear up. I just wanted to show there are more options than simply Stefl+FF scummates.

Can you elaborate for me the bolded part for stupid people? I would've understood egging on as joining it with weak reasons D: - (also, next time don't tell people and you might end up double voter through mods grace)

Because you probably have a reason beyond that just why not? Why not you? Why not potato-salad? If you can't argue or don't want to argue for this, it just seems like you wanted to put traction back on the lynch-train against me. So speak up or have my vote. I would also like a very specific explanation on why you build that connection.

At least this makes the connection that Mr. Playstation as scum -> axum is more likely scum
