Forums - General - Iphone will sell 45M in 2009 - better buy some Apple stocks

The article has a detailed plans for the Iphone.  I don't think it's achievable.

How many of you have Iphones?

There is no mention of it being able to play games.

I think they would have sell on all the major cell carriers for this to happen. There are many people who won't buy an iPhone because of AT&T.

I have an iPhone and I love it but those numbers are way too aggressive.

- One carrier strategy scares away some customers.
- Price, price, price. Apple isn't going to want to dig into their iPod sales too heavily by slashing the iPhone price too quickly.
- Expect more solid competition to appear in the next 12 months.

I think the iPhone is one of the best products I have purchased recently (even despite the obnoxious price points) but the carrier choice, unnecessary capabilities, and price are just too much for most people to overcome. It's a great phone if you want full internet access, email, calendar, iPod, etc. but there aren't that many people willing to pay that much for a phone.

I don't understand what's so wrong with Cingular. I've been with them for five or six years and I love it. I hardly drop calls, and I love my Rollover minutes. I just don't get why anyone would want to be with Sprint or Verizon.

I plan to buy an iPhone by the end of this year.

I've been a cingular (att) customer for 12 years now so I can't compare it to verizon or sprint but I never had any problems with the company thus far.

I don't have an iphone nor plan to purchase one but who knows. . .

I thought they were able to play games on these phones.

In another news,
companies are banning iphones from work.
