#21: Mortal Kombat? I doubt you're talking about Fighting Street.

#20: Star Fox Zero

#19: Super Mario 64

I would have known 23, Ka-pi appeared to have stolen it...

19 is correct... About  #21 I'm talking sales-wise: every game in this series has sold at least 5 million units.

#20 is the other game (I knew this hint was a bit tricky, actually I've just seen that it wasn't an interview, but a roundtable).

Ow lol, Smash Bros. then.

And Pikmin 3 for #20.

Is SMG the first 3D Mario?

Yes.

it was the sequel to the first 3d installment on the Wii. I misread the hint. xD

Super Mario...Sunshine?

Also no to 22 but yes to 21 and 20

Closer, but no.

Mario Kart 8 then?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Both correct!

27 – Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box

I played the four NDS Professor Layton games around the same time (maybe the Last Specter some months later, but not too far away) and the games are quite similar in gameplay, so my memory of the four games is very homogeneous, being difficult for me to sort them (actually next year I’ll probably change it’s position).

I have a fond memory of Professor Layton games. The puzzles are brilliant and use greatly the touch screen, the plot is entertaining and has an animation flavor that suits the games perfectly and exploring the different game locations and talking with its crazy characters makes the games much more than a mere puzzle recompilation.

The second game of the series is the first one I played and made me fall in love with the series.

26 - Professor Layton and the Last Specter

The last game that was published in the Nintendo DS maintains the same scheme of the other games, although it’s the first one of a new trilogy, this time set some years before the original one.

I used to play the Professor Layton games with my wife (then girlfriend), and that’s probably one of the reasons why I have a fond memory of them. In this case, I think she played through most of the story parts and I focused on the puzzles, so I don’t remember very well the plot, except for the end that was highly emotive.

25 – Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Half of the list!

The Curious Village is the first game in the series. This game (although as I’ve said was not the first in the series I played) was the game that made me want a Nintendo DS for the first time. The introduction of the mix of adventure and puzzles was fantastic and stablished the foundations for the rest of the franchise.

24 – Professor Layton and the Unwound Future

Last Professor Layton in the list, Unwound Future is the game that closes the first Layton trilogy. Its plot, which included time travelling, possible treasons, flashbacks and steampunk settings is possibly the more complex of the four DS games, but also the more emotive one, developing the characters and its relationships – especially between Layton and Luke more than in previous games. Puzzles by the way continue so brilliant as ever.

Sorry for the spam :p

I'm going to refresh my unguessed hints:

#22: This game has been critically panned, specially for it's shortness and low dificulty. it's predecesor, though, is considered one of the best platformers of all time. Hint 2:After this game, the series only had titles in handhelds, until 2015.

# 18 An spin-off of this game has been probably the most commented game this year. Hint 2:Really? Consider that the game is a spin-off of the franchise, and this is the first game in that franchise. Other than that, the hint is really clear...

Here again with a few hints?

Hint 21 - This story tells of a young man in a mercenary group, who must quickly fill up some shoes to take lead. He and his merry band take on a small job, which eventually becomes much bigger than he expected. Entering a battle between man and beast, this hero with blue hair and a golden blade will rise to end the true evil king who started this all.

Hint 20 - It seems I've fallen far down and can't get back up. I guess I'll just take the long way and make some weird friends along the way.

Hint 19 - Jump into the crazy brawl, grab whatever you can and throw it at your enemies, and be sure to grab those stones. They'll make you POWERFUL!

Motocross Madness

'Motocross Madness' is one of the few racing games that gave me a good time. A lot of racing-games are throwaway to me, but this one isn't. Simulations racers almost never interest me, but arcade racers might and probably because this particular one fails at being what it wanted to be in a good way attracts me towards it.

Or at least, that's what I assume. It seems that 'Motocross Madness' was supposed to be a serious motocross racer, but due the way riders crash, fly and ride in general, it creates a myriad of humorous situations. This also made for a fun multiplayer game, and it's accessibility meant getting a couple of friends together was an easy task. Those days are over though, but the game remains fun.

What keeps making me coming back is the easy map-editor which was included with the game. It's probably one the best I have ever used, and making a good track and riding it is done in no-time. Of course, the editor could also easily be used to troll your friends, by just making a track that only contains those annoying bumps that messes up your steering.
