Forums - Microsoft - Xbox one outsell PS4 for the fourth month consecutive in the US

It kind of makes sense :

Low sales months
Slim PS4 isn't necessary/desirable to OG PS4 owners
No 'fire sale' PS4s available
PS4 Pro upcoming (only SKU that looks like some OG PS4 owners might buy)

I think a lot of XB1-S were sold to existing XB1 owners, and of course the epic sales on OG X1s was a help as well.

Nov/Dec will be gigantic, either one on it's own will sell more consoles than the previous 4 months combined or very close to it.

Both will sell that in Nobember alone.

When is the NPD data released? I'm more interested in the gap.

Numbers are out on 21th november.

Anyway, i think the gap should be something like 100k or so.

I think that 100k is a lot, it did a little better than that with the launch of the Xbox One S+ pre-orders.

I expect something between  30-40k.

We also have big launchs(if you can say that Titanfall was big) when compared to last year. I think that we only had the UFC game.

A lot of it has to do with the Slim being out now. But August had Recore, which wouldnt sell many consoles. September had Forza Horizon 3 and October had Gears 4. Plus it has the marketing for Battlefield 1.

X1Slim was out PS4 Pro was not but that all changes today.
