seeing as microsoft was segas partners making the dreamcast. they helped out mostly with segas online service sega net there probably wouldnt have been an xbox in the 6th generation. if dreamcast was second to ps2 and gamecube last do you think microsoft would of continued working with sega on a new sega console with better online and multimedia features to compete with ps3 and wii or gone off and made the xbox?

The Xbox project was underway before the DC even launched so I would have to say "yes".

Yes, there would be greater chance of the Xbox. Microsoft would have seen sucess from Sega as well as the PS2, and be in even more of a hurry to release their console!

 They alreadyattempted to buy Sega when Sega was losing lots of money, but Sega refused. If Sega had become sucessful, they definatly wouldn't have sold out!
