Sorry everybody I mean on home consoles. Of course the DS will have awesome RPG's.  As for anything else, I agree with DMeisterJ.

I was assuming FFXIII wouldn't hit this year when I made this thread.  FFXIII is the ONLY RPG that might hit this year on home consoles that would be better than Fable 2.

Fable 2 will be a huge game. And it will sell as expected. Awfully good. Why do you all compare WRPGs to JRPGs. The fact that they are called RPGs doesn't mean they re the same kind of games. Linear against open ended? Turn Based against real time? It s a matter of taste (I disliked JRPGs, and i still do but LO is really enjoyable) but, still they are different games. And why should FF13 be a masterpiece? Was XII a masterpiece? it just sold as expected. Nothing astounding. But i guess, numbers don't do justice when it comes to if a game really worth your time and devotion.
Again, the expectation for Fable 2 are huge. And that, for another time may prove a downplay for Sir Peters game. But, i think this time, knows really well, what went wrong with the original Fable.
I can't express how BAD i wanna play this game. And KOTOR III (well... when it will be announced... And Dragon Age... And Witcher on 360, or the improved version on PC... and Fallout 3... fuck...)

If Fable 2 actually lives up to what has been promised then it should be amazing and possibly best RPG of 2008. I think Too Human will take that though.

That reward will go to the PS3's FF XIII due out possibly late 2008.

FFXIII won't make it out this year, especially not in the West.

I will get the Japanese port of FF XIII when it hits around 4 months before everywhere else
