if EA made a console... it would probably be the worst console in the world.

Well, we see what happens when a software company makes hardware (MS). MS has an advantage, in that they also make OS's and development tools.

EA would just come in 4th. Also, for it to even come close to winning, they would have to make all there IP's exclusive, and basically kill the market they are currently in.

It would be far to risky for EA.

Well if you think about it. Ea is known to whore games around. So if they made a console they are only going to publish games for their console. Now if they do that the games MAY in the slightest chance be good because they developers are only developing for one console. It would also get rid of the shit games on other consoles. SO I think it would be beneficial if they did make a console.

You know what I want an EA console. That may kill ea. If they make a console and it fails no more ea. Then Microsoft,Sony, and nintendo will gobble up the debris developers.

 Thats a great point dude!!!

 Also Ea with out a exclusive NFL franchise, since no way NFL signs a exclusive deal unless their game is on every console in the world.

There is precisely one way I can see this happening. MS would have to step out of the ring and let EA take up what they left off with, including the XBox brand and MS's studios. Otherwise? No way. EA would fail miserably because they can't make a AAA game to save their lives, and they wouldn't make nearly as much money on their games if they weren't multiplatform.

That would be the greatest day ever! i can only imagine a nintendo system with no crappy ea games.

Whoa...easy there Jimmy. What Wii innovates with random wiimote waggling...it de-innovates in worse graphics and presentation in games, shitty online and lack of decent 3rd party support.

 well a different control input is an innovation, yet better graphics and online are just improvements, not really innovations..
