I don't think it's a case of being stupid, it's just a case you don't think of your own country. When I saw the thread title I started thinking of all countries on the other side of the world I could think of-- United Kingdom, Uraguay, Ukraine, UAE, and Uganda is all I got-- and you just forget your own country. It's not really a question of stupidity, it's just kind of like one of those brain teasers with a really obvious answer that's really easy to miss.

People its URUGUAY, not most of the attempts you made. Well since Uruguay is next to my country, I should know better than anyone.

Stupid people is all over, even highly educated people are stupid. Its just a matter of the importance you give to the world that surrounds you. If you had paid a bit of attention during school days, these questions should all be easy to respond. Also reading the newspaper, watching news sometimes, watching any documentries can boost your knowledge a bit.

But that video did worry me a bit, not knowing that France or Iran was not Australia frightened me. And also, some people answering questions and seeming 100% sure about their answers, I just have to say lol, not accepting that you know nothing is worse than knowing nothing. They should have at least said "I dont know" because thats the case of 100% of the population, no one knows it all.
