Actually, if I can recall correctly, the game Ubi was holding back was some sort of multiplayer party game, nothing comparable to BG&E2. I assume Nintendo did the same thing with BG&E2 what they did with Bayo2. Ubisoft wasn't keen on paying for the game, so Nintendo signed the checks for them.

Yup, the unreleased Wii U game was a party game called Know Your Friends. I won't be surprised to see that game being repurposed for the NX now that you guys mentioned it.

Yeah, I can see them releasing it for both platforms to try and cover costs. As a launch game, it might even sell well, but I doubt it (it really looks shovelware-esque).

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I'm hoping these rumors are true. I'd like to see Nintendo go ahead and fund more third-party projects, as they did with Bayonetta. If the NX has an integrated library (handheld and home lineups merging), and Nintendo can firmy secure a several third party exclusives each year, the old adage that Nintendo doesn't need multiplats might be proven true. Honestly, though, with the lineup I've just described, sales should be strong enough to pull in the most popular multiplat titles by default.
