In my opinion he did the most ridiculous thing on day 3 - next to vanishing - after he scanned spurge as innocent he ran for a claim that he scanned prof as scum (which he wasn't) and then just vanishing, basically nulling chances of town to win.

In my opinions prof got sabotaged way too much this game by other players, at least, he was able to survive to endgame

Honestly I just played tick tack toe to see who I would kill last night. I was slightly biased towards you Spurge, since I had a feeling prof was very likely to protect himself.
